Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Content Marketing Manager to lead all content initiatives at Utila. As the content expert on the team, you will be at the driver seat of our content strategy and execution. This is an individual contributor role reporting to our Director of Marketing.

You will own the end-to-end content pipeline — from strategy and ideation to creation, distribution, and analysis. This includes developing compelling content across various formats, including blog articles, web copy, social media posts, email campaigns, sales enablement materials, case studies, white papers etc. 

This role is perfect for a creative storyteller with strong marketing acumen, exceptional writing skills, deep understanding of SEO, and a passion for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse target audiences. You’ll work closely with our Director of Marketing to develop compelling, high-impact content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and demand generation. 


Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Utila’s business objectives and marketing goals, taking full ownership of the content strategy, execution and roadmap.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats (blog articles, case studies, web copy, social media posts, email campaigns, newsletters, sales enablement collaterals, video scripts, reports, white papers etc.) for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle right from strategy, ideation, creation to distribution, and performance analysis, consistently delivering high-quality content under tight deadlines and managing a high volume of output.
  • Translate complex technical concepts related to MPC, blockchain, payments, institutional crypto and digital asset management into clear and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Optimize all content for search engines (SEO) to maximize organic visibility and web traffic. Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis and pSEO content audits.
  • Create and manage engaging content for Utila’s social media channels. Grow our social presence by maintaining consistent posting schedules and interacting with the community.
  • Manage content calendars and editorial workflow ensuring timely and consistent content delivery across all channels.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance by tracking key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven adjustments to content strategies.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure content alignment and campaign success. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content platforms.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of work experience in content marketing, content writing or a related role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse content formats, especially in B2B SaaS–crypto, fintech, or related industries.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, content optimization & SEO tools.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging, impactful social content.
  • Ability to simplify and translate complex technical information into accessible, engaging content.
  • Strong marketing sensibility and understanding of marketing communications principles.
  • Ability to produce high-quality content at a fast pace while maintaining consistency.
  • Self-starter with excellent project management and organizational skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Web3, blockchain, or fintech industries.
  • Experience building a brand’s social media presence from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs or SE Ranking) and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and knowledge of email marketing tools
  • Knowledge of content distribution strategies and the ability to analyze performance metrics.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
