About Rome Protocol

Rome Protocol is building a shared sequencer network leveraging Solana. Shared sequencers solve the biggest problems for Ethereum’s rollup-centric future. Using Solana as a shared sequencer leverages a well-tested, secure, and high throughput network to solve these problems.

We are building a shared sequencer that can be integrated with any Ethereum based rollups. It is intended to be used for thousands of rollups.

We work in person from our New York City office and are remote friendly.

Responsibilities:

  • Define business development strategy, take broad concepts to form action plans, and execute them successfully.
  • Establish and foster long lasting relationships with customers, partners, and clients.
  • Scanning the web3 market for new partners and conducting end to end business development process from lead generation to close
  • Qualifying existing business development opportunities and moving over the finish line
  • Working with some of the leading RWAs, RaaS, and rollup projects in web3
  • Conducting research on ways how to use Rome Protocol and creating processes and documentation

Requirements

  • At least 2yrs experience within web3/defi/crypto
  • Technical selling experience, preferably web3 backend solutions
  • Web3 native using DeFi protocols and web3 every day
  • Experience using CRMs
  • Track record of managing partners, closing deals, and overachieving your revenue goals
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments and having ambitious targets
  • Well-organized with strong time management skills and a proactive personality
  • Bonus: Experience within a web3 middleware/rollups/L2s
