As we continue to expand and revolutionize the payment landscape, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader who is highly motivated and results-driven for our Head of International Partnerships Strategy role. You will be owning partnerships end-to-end to integrate our infrastructure with the banking and fintech world in our target markets. This key executive will play a pivotal role in driving the company's global expansion by developing and executing a robust international stablecoin strategy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in forming partnerships that enhance our cross-border payment capabilities, particularly in remittances and for freelancers engaged in remote work.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement International Stablecoin Strategy
  • Craft a comprehensive strategy for the adoption and integration of stablecoins in target international markets.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments related to stablecoins and cryptocurrency in various jurisdictions.
  1. Identify and Cultivate Strategic Partnerships:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Leverage existing networks and establish new connections within the fintech and banking infrastructure sector in our target markets.
  • Evaluate partnership opportunities based on strategic fit, market potential, and regulatory considerations.
  1. Negotiate and Close Strategic Partnerships:
  • Lead negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all partnerships comply with regulatory requirements.
  1. Drive Cross-Border Payments Initiatives:
  • Work closely with product and technology teams to integrate stablecoins into our cross-border payment infrastructure.
  • Ensure the seamless execution of cross-border payment initiatives, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  1. Focus on Monetizable Products for Remittances and Freelancers:
  • Develop specialized strategies for the remittance market, identifying key corridors and optimizing solutions for end-users.
  • Tailor partnerships and services to meet the unique needs of freelancers engaged in remote work.
  • Drive solutions that optimize for revenue while solving unique challenges for cross-border payments
  1. Cultivate and Manage Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for international partners, fostering positive, long-term relationships.
  1. Metrics and Reporting:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on partnership activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of establishing extensive connections within the fintech and banking infrastructure space, especially in our target markets.

  • Strong understanding of the payments industry, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape
  • Deep understanding of stablecoins, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology.
  1. Negotiation Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex business deals that drive mutual benefit.
  • Track record of successful partnerships driving revenue and growth
  1. Self-Motivated and Driven:
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet ambitious targets.
  1. Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and proposals.
  1. Adaptability:
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development and partnerships within the fintech or banking industry.
  • A track record of successfully closing high-impact deals.
