Hedgeye Risk Management is seeking an Analyst for our newly created Crypto Research team. This role offers a distinctive opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team operating at the epicenter of the investment research market.

In This Role, You Will

• Support Senior Analysts in the Global Cryptocurrency Landscape by aiding in the development of presentations, conducting project and security analyses, participating in research-related initiatives, and actively engaging in the creation of innovative content.
• Assist Senior Analysts with Sector Coverage including Macro, REITs, and Financials to enhance our team’s ability to provide comprehensive insights.
• Become a Knowledge Expert and Information Resource on multiple Crypto projects, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc., as the firm expands our institutional and retail market coverage in this growing sector.
• Stay Current with Industry Trends (publications, podcasts and events) to ensure our team remains well-informed and positioned at the forefront of developments.
• Contribute Content for Hedgeye’s digital media offerings including web, mobile, video and audio.
• Data interpretation skills and the ability to communicate findings through data visualization.
• Innovative thinking to confidently generate new ideas, ‘think outside the box.’
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts.
• Technical competence:
• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL.
• Experience with on-chain analytics tools such as Nansen, Dune and etherscan.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, with minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Prior crypto experience preferred.
• Licensing requirement: attainment of Series 65 license will be mandatory post-hire.
