Key Responsibilities
¡Deal Sourcing â Drive deal sourcing process through combination of automated tools, proactive research and outreach
¡Due Diligence - Conduct due diligence on target companies
¡Operations â manage a combination of tools and vendors (e.g., custody provider, crypto exchanges, NFT marketplaces) to trade and track crypto assets.
¡Research â Research trends, share new investment ideas and collaborate with Founders/General Partners on thesis formation/refinement
¡Content â Create thoughtful content to support our thought leadership (public) and investment decisions (internal)
¡Relationships â Facilitate relationships with portfolio companies and get them needed value-add through our network
Qualifications
Experience
¡Bachelorâs degree (required)
¡Full-time experience working as an analyst or associate at a venture fund, corporate venture arm, investment bank, or PE firm
¡Experience (even if personal) investing in crypto/NFT/web3
¡Experience conducting structured due diligence across multiple companies
¡Bonus: Technical major and/or technical/product experience such that you can directly diligence the technology of web3 projects
¡Bonus: Video game player/enthusiast who knows the space as a user
Characteristics
¡Native understanding and deep curiosity for web3
¡Networked with other web3 investors (sufficient to contribute to firm deal-flow)
¡Highly organized with attention to detail
¡Fluid and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-moving startup environment
Skills
¡Foundational understanding of crypto, blockchain, gaming, metaverse
¡Critical thinking and communication (PPT, written, verbal)
¡Resourceful researcher
¡Financial and portfolio modeling (solid and above)
