Your mission

As a QA Engineer you’ll directly be part of Bitpanda’s innovative crypto-hub solution and you’ll have hands-on access to a great diversity of technologies. We’re building the infrastructure for crypto transactions and crypto custody services in state-of-the-art technologies, so you’ll directly work with a senior backend team.

What you’ll do

  • Be an integral part of the agile development workflow and an advocate for testing and code quality within the engineering teams you work with, from standups to sprint planning, to backlog refinement and long-term planning.
  • Ensure that we provide fast and well tested transaction services on many blockchain networks and ultra-secure crypto custody.
  • Execute end-to-end tests and work with our automated testing framework in python.
  • Work with backend teams to ensure quality throughout the development life cycle and help deliver well tested releases.

Who you are

  • 3+ year track record of being a QA, backed up with a solid understanding of QA responsibilities within an agile software development team/deployment processes.
  • You have a keen interest in Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology and are eager to dive into it more!
  • Basic Python or JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge, preferably with using APIs.
  • General IT fundamentals like SQL & databases and git.
  • Extra bonus points for hands-on experience with AWS Services, Web3, observability tools like DataDog, performance testing tools like K6, Python testing frameworks like Behave.

  • Additionally, a blockchain developer may also be responsible for researching and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, in order to ensure that their applications are secure and efficient.
