About the Role

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Creation Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys the challenge of storytelling on digital platforms, and has a passion for the blockchain and technology sector. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our social media strategies across Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube to increase our brand awareness, engage our community, and drive traffic to our website.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Contribute to and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals, focusing on Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Schedule and publish engaging content across all platforms, ensuring consistency in tone and branding.
• Monitor social media trends and leverage insights to optimize content and engagement strategies.
• Engage with our community, responding to comments and messages in real time and in a professional manner.

Content Creation

• Create high-quality, engaging graphics and video content tailored to each social media platform.
• Collaborate within the organization to ensure content is informative, accurate, and aligned with our marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and engagement.
• Measure and report on the performance of social media activities, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience, blockchain and adjacent experience preferred.
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma) and video editing software.
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of the blockchain and technology sector.
• Bonus: Active on crypto twitter and can speak to trends, who’s who in the space, and common terminology.
• Bonus: Experience managing YouTube channel and analytics tracking.

Base Salary: The CAD base salary range for this position is CAD $70,000 - $90,000.The US base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 - $90,000. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all Canada or the US. A candidate’s specific pay within the range will be determined by various factors including job-related skills, relevant education, and training.
