Saidler & Co. is hiring a Director of Finance. It is a remote position but we are looking for candidates who live in New York. We’ll be accepting applications for this position until September 25th.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and operations functions on daily basis, which includes but not limited to corporate level accounting, fund valuation, fund operations, investor onboarding and management company handlings
• Ensure proper procedures and controls are implemented across the team
• Establish strong working relationships with firm’s business partners and service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, professional service providers, etc.
• Take the lead in annual audits, periodically regulatory reporting, and other improvement projects
• Responsible for team management and drive for results through trainings, leadership, culture and employer engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or other industry related discipline
• 10+ years' of executive experience in the financial services industry
• Experience in investment funds, hedge funds, VC/PE or product management required
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team

Saidler & Co. pays in the top 10% of the industry based on Switzerland rates. Same position, same pay, no matter where you live. The compensation can be negotiated individually.

We are an organization that strongly believes in fostering talents and providing them with the freedom to excel in a manner that they see fit. There are no fixed working hours. There are no daily required meetings or lengthy Zoom video calls. You will take full responsibility to manage your own time and structure your own work the way you see fit. We however require that you will remain available for at least two hours during CET business hours for potential coordination purposes.

All we ask is a reasonable 8-hour day and 40-hour work week, and we'll stay out of your way so you can do the best work of your career. Twice a year, you will be invited to join our company event in Switzerland, to meet the rest of the team in person. As a matter of course, the costs will be covered by the company.
