We are looking for an experienced Community Manager with a passion for memes, crypto, and NFTs for a major snack brand. You are looking to work with a fast-moving team where you learn and absorb new things everyday. You are a self-starter, eager to have ownership in helping grow the community. A background in community management, gaming, social, or crypto (or all of the above!) is preferred.
Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the community is a safe place that is welcoming to all and free of harm
  • Enforce brand/project policies consistently and fairly, and share input on policies that should be created or amended
  • Surface gaps, vulnerabilities, and risks that need to be mitigated both proactively and reactively
  • Moderate the community on the front lines nearly all day every day to protect our users
  • Actively manage community platform and partner with support to ensure users get answers to their technical and non-technical questions
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise across all project products, processes, and policies
  • Escalate trends and needs across the community to broader agency
  • You won't just be on top of industry trends, you will be setting them
  • Ability to work Weekends/nights - understanding that this reflects peak community participation hours
  • Enroll and execute Discord moderator curriculum as distributed by Director of Community Management
  • Provide same day wrap up report, highlighting brand wins, flagging potential risk to the community in addition to providing sufficient handoff notes for the next moderator shift
  • Aggregate and store User Generated Content across all social channels
  • Facilitate and lead engagement in-stream interacting as a brand.
  • Discord server architect

Key Qualifications And/or Experience

  • Experience actively participating in many NFT communities
  • Strong communication skills

  • An ability to work independently and proactively with minimal direction.
  • Strong learning skills, can learn new things in a short time.
  • You enjoy playing games, use Discord, and other social channels on a daily basis.
  • Very organized, great time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Consistency in responding to messages quickly and comprehensively.
  • Experience using any industry standard bots and moderator tools on Discord, including but not limited to:
    • MEE6
    • Dyno
    • Wick bot
    • Vulcan Authentication
    • Collab.Land
  • Must be in NYC or plan to relocate within a month of hiring.
  • Fluent in navigating gaming communities across TikTok, Twitter and YouTube Shorts
  • Comfortable with presenting community management insights/findings to clients
  • Has an appetite for creative thinking and an understanding of project execution.
  • Bonus qualifications:
    • You're excited to host live 'virtual town halls' with the community.
    • Experience building/moderating Discord servers for brands

The annual salary range for this role is $65,000-$70,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
