Job Description

We seek a Senior Blockchain Engineer with experience in building web3 gaming solutions to join our team at MetaEngine. As a Senior Blockchain Engineer, you will drive the development and continued improvement of our web3 products. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to define the architecture and write smart contracts for our applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy various web3 gaming products and solutions, including NFT marketplaces, decentralized gaming platforms, play-to-earn models, and cross-game interoperability tools
  • Lead the integration of blockchain SDKs into game projects across different platforms and engines
  • Develop tools and platforms for DAO creation and management, and support the implementation of in-game economies
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on blockchain and web3 technologies, including Solidity, NodeJS and Java
  • Strong knowledge of Ethereum, Solidity, and smart contract development
  • Familiarity with NFTs, token-based economies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions
  • Proficient in some programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C++
  • A desire to work on big complex projects with lots of creative freedom, and a passion for shipping high-quality products
  • An interest in the crypto and gaming space and a love for building tools that help users navigate the web3 world

Desirable

  • Experience with Layer 2 solutions (e.g., Polygon, Optimism)
  • Familiarity with DAO creation, governance, and management
  • Experience with game development, game engines, and platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine)
