The Role


We are excited to announce Gala is seeking to hire a Community Manager into our Entertainment Marketing team, working across our suite of entertainment products. This role will be responsible for working with artists, community and internal stakeholders in delivering best-in-class community management expertise within our Music and Film verticals.

Responsibilities


  • Manage both Film and Music Discords
  • Maintain positive sentiment within community
  • Work with Marketing team/partners to communicate information in announcements/channels
  • Liaise with team on issues/concerns in community
  • Schedule/host community events (Discord stages, Twitter spaces)
  • Work with team/partners/artists on collecting/creating content for exclusive Discord channels

Essential Skills and Qualifications


  • Understanding of and passion for entertainment, NFTs, and Web3
  • Have active and professional experience with Discord, forums, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, (other platforms like SnapChat, Twitch.tv, Youtube, etc a bonus)
  • Strong work ethic, communication, writing ability, and business development sensibility
  • Comfort with semi-technical tasks like using an admin panel
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a rapidly shifting landscape
  • Patience for helping out the new and unacquainted
  • Ability to work independently and remotely

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications


  • Prior entertainment or games community management experience.
