About the Opportunity ✍️ We’re seeking a seasoned Analytics Engineer to join our Finance Data team. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with our finance and data teams, playing a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our financial data platform. 

What you will do…

Take ownership of all financial data assets from ingestion to modeling to reporting Provide strategic vision for evolving and optimising our financial data platform  Work closely with our finance team to understand the downstream use cases for modelling our data assets - including for audit and regulatory reporting Establish infrastructure, monitoring, testing & best practices across the finance data platform Working with our data analytics team to support enhancements to the core data platform analytics layer

You are a problem-solver with a passion for leveraging your skills and experience in analytics engineering to address our financial data reporting and monitoring needs. You are comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environment, you possess excellent communication skills and understand the importance of clear documentation. Your high tolerance for ambiguity and context switching makes you well-suited for our fast-paced environment.

What you will need…

Experience working with financial data assets. Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL. Extensive working experience with dimensional modelling and implementing data transformations through tooling like DBT. Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow. Experience with BI tooling like Looker. Good practical understanding of version control. Working knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience with cloud providers, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (we are a GCP house) Outstanding project management, written and verbal communication skills. A strong desire to help and upskill your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse set of stakeholders. Prior experience or a strong interest in FinTech, crypto, or web3 preferred.
