Software Engineer: Infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions for Gauntlet’s platforms, including projects focused on enhancing network security, optimizing cloud resource allocation, and developing automated deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance infrastructure systems tailored to the company's needs, with upcoming projects involving integrating new blockchain technologies and real-time data processing capabilities.
- Participate in code and design reviews specific to infrastructure projects, offering constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices in infrastructure development.
- Stay informed about emerging infrastructure technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve system architecture.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support infrastructure operations and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the platform's services.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Proficient in at least one programming language commonly used for infrastructure automation and scripting, such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, and cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on building scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure systems.
- Strong skills in CI/CD processes and tools, emphasizing automating and streamlining deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
