THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We are looking for a hungry and talented account executive to grow join our efforts to bring our product to market. You’ll partner with a business development representative (BDR) as the closer for deals they bring in- bringing prospects through the pipeline once they’re qualified to get their first assets deposited into the platform.
As a member of our young sales team, you’ll have an outsized opportunity influence the growth of the department and the overall firm.
What you’ll be doing.
- Take hot inbound leads through our enterprise sales process centered around product demos and user education
- Close qualified outbound leads generated by your partner BDR
- Generate new leads by attending marketing events, conferences, and webinars
- Manage and coach your partner BDR to help them exceed their KPIs and learn new skills
- Execute our go-to-market sales strategy for our new product
- Upsell existing customers based on new product developments or as their business evolve and become qualified for other FPG offerings
- Gather and share market insights with the product team based on feedback from your sales efforts
- Be a recognizable face of the team to speak and represent the brand at conferences, events, and webinars
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in enterprise sales in a closing role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Great understanding of crypto, equities, FX, commodities, derivatives, or prime brokerage
- You’re really excited about cryptocurrency and seek out ways to grow your expertise in its cutting edge tech
- Past experience working with startups or in an entrepreneurial setting
- You possess a toolkit of negotiation skills that you’ve honed through closing previous enterprise contracts
- The scrappiness and unavoidable pairing of innovation & chaos that happens in startups is one of the most exciting aspects for you
- You prioritize transparency and straight forward communication
- You support distributed ownership
- You don’t take yourself too seriously
