Job Description:
As a Web3 Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying highly customized smart contracts on the NEAR blockchain using Rust. Your deep understanding of smart contract development will be instrumental in creating unique solutions that go beyond NFTs and cater to various use cases. Collaborating closely with our team, you will contribute to the creation of secure, scalable, and user-friendly decentralized applications.
This independent contractor role is expected to last 3+ months, with a potential for a full time role and is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy custom smart contracts on the NEAR blockchain using Rust, ensuring code quality, security, and performance.
- Design and implement unique smart contract solutions that extend beyond NFTs, catering to specific use cases and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart contracts with frontend applications and backend systems.
- Optimize smart contracts for gas efficiency, scalability, and user experience, ensuring seamless integration with the NEAR ecosystem.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and robustness of the deployed applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in web3 technologies, Rust, and NEAR blockchain ecosystem, and share knowledge with the team.
- Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to maintain code quality and adhere to industry standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in developing and building custom smart contracts on the NEAR blockchain, with a track record of deploying production-ready apps used by real users.
- English is your native language.
- Proficiency in Rust programming language and a deep understanding of the NEAR blockchain ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of smart contract development principles and best practices.
- Experience in creating customized smart contracts beyond NFTs, catering to diverse use cases.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers.
