Job Description:

We are looking for an addition to our middle office team to help in the day to day operations across our firm's business lines. The desired candidate will be a part of the Operations team and offers a unique opportunity to work in a critical function. The right candidate will have a working knowledge of the financial services industry and a desire to excel in the functions of the middle/back office.

You will have the opportunity to partner with several internal (Technology, Trading, Finance, Compliance) and external stakeholders across multiple asset classes. Exos offers a dynamic work environment with an array of products and services.

The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and collaborate across internal and external relationships.

This candidate is also expected to foster a strong culture of risk awareness, control, and a willingness to learn. Products supported are Equities (US and International), Equity Options, US Treasuries, High Yield Bonds, MBS Bonds, Futures, Futures Options, Crypto, and Loans.

Responsibilities:

-Trade processing

-Daily position, trade, and cash reconciliations

-Work with prime brokers, clearing brokers, and custodians to resolve discrepancies

-Process cash wires

-Trade report and proxy vote monitoring -Work with technology development group to resolve issues

-Onboarding of brokers and clients, including AML/KYC

-Maintain books and records of the firm

Requirements:

-Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in the financial services industry, preferably supporting a broker-dealer

-Understanding of the life cycle of a trade

-Adept in clearing and settlement

-Reconciliation experience

-FINRA Series 99, or the ability to pass in a short period of time

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or relevant background

-Ability to understand complex technical problems.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
