Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Quantitative Researcher with a deep understanding of crypto markets and an analytical approach to trading and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will possess the initiative and determination to drive strategy development, optimise performance and contribute to our fund’s growth.

This is a full-time position (80%-100%).

Tasks

  • Trading & Portfolio Management: Develop and execute quantitative trading strategies for new fund(s); support and facilitate trade execution for multiple funds.
  • Strategy Development: Research, design, and implement quantitative models and new trading strategies to optimise portfolio performance; apply backtesting, scenario analysis and simulations.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse self-collected data sets to identify profitable trading opportunities; automate visualisation of key metrics; maintain clean code repositories.
  • Risk Management: Develop and monitor risk management protocols to ensure the safety and profitability of assets under management.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with team members to develop insights and communicate results; provide regular updates on key metrics; combine independence with team-work.

Requirements

  • Quantitative Expertise: Strong background in quantitative analysis, finance, computer science or a related field.
  • Crypto Affinity: Genuine interest and experience in crypto markets and blockchain technology.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python; familiarity with trading platforms and APIs is a plus.
  • Drive & Ownership: Self-motivated, proactive approach to work; committed to seeing projects through to completion.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to tackle complex problems in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Location: Must be based in the Netherlands, preferably near Amsterdam, as we work from the office.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
