Job Overview Genius is seeking a senior Solana developer with deep expertise in SVM to lead the Solana contract development, deployment and maintenance. An ideal candidate will also have full-stack expertise and is comfortable with multiple frameworks, with Solana nativity.

Job Description

1. Own Genius’ on-chain contracts in the Solana Ecosystem
2. Design, implement, and optimize secure and efficient smart contracts using Rust and the Anchor framework
3. Integrate Genius’ proprietary Synchronous Liquid Matching engine with Solana to facilitate rapid cross-chain swaps. Achitect and implement the platform’s Solana-based liquidity management system
4. Architect and optimize trading pathways to maximize speed, minimize costs, and ensure an exceptional user experience while minimizing failed transactions
5. Implement dynamic gas price optimization using oracles or algorithms to balance transaction speed and cost
6. Architect, implement, and maintain novel web3 full stack architecture, leveraging MPC paradigms alongside traditional smart contract ones
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various components of Genius’ trading platform, including the proprietary Synchronous Liquid Matching engine
8. Manage, maintain, and integrate Genius backend services (indexers, quoting engines, etc.) with our frontend

Ideal Candidates Are: Non-Negotiables

1. Extremely hungry to take high ownership and put in dog work, grinding hours
2. Based in NYC/Remote in a reasonable time zone
3. Understand deeply the psychology on an on-chain trader and is passionate about mainstream adoption
4. A deeply technical background beyond Rust/SVM, but with expertise in Rust

Negotiables

1. Are massively on-chain trader archetypes (degenerate to a responsible extent)
2. Previously worked at leading DEXs within the Solana Ecosystem (massively preferred)

Core Competencies

1. Advanced proficiency in Rust programming language
2. Extensive experience writing secure and optimized smart contracts using Anchor framework
3. Deep understanding of Solana architecture, including transactions, accounts, programs, and runtime
4. Expertise in using Solana Program Library (SPL) to build and deploy SPL tokens
5. Proficient in utilizing Solana CLI and related tools (e.g., Solana Explorer, Solana Playground)
6. Strong knowledge of cryptographic primitives, such as digital signatures and hash functions
7. Experience with cross-program invocations (CPIs) and program derived addresses (PDAs)
8. Solid understanding of the Solana account model and rent mechanism
9. Familiarity with Solana’s Proof-of-History (PoH) and Tower Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus mechanisms
10. Ability to write and optimize on-chain programs for better performance and reduced transaction costs
11. Experience with Solana/web3.js library for front-end integration with Solana blockchain
12. Skilled in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and implementing CI/CD pipelines
13. Ability to audit existing smart contracts and identify potential security vulnerabilities or performance bottlenecks

Total Compensation

1. 130K-200K
2. 0.25%-0.5% of token supply
