Strategic Alliance Manager

Chainalysis

This job is closed

Our Channel & Alliances team is an important part of Chainalysis go-to-market. The team supports technology and consulting alliances. This team collaborates closely with our direct sales force, product and service teams to recruit and develop strategic alliances that accelerate Chainalysis sales and customer success objectives.

A Strategic Alliance Manager at Chainalysis has built strategic go-to-market alliances at an emerging technology, high-growth software company, with global consulting and integration firms serving governments and large financial institutions. An ideal candidate has experience identifying and executing strategic recruitment and development of partnerships by effectively collaborating cross-functionally. We measure the success of our Channels and Alliances team by the impact on our partners, Chainalysis and our joint customers.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if…

  • You have contributed a measurable impact to Chainalysis sales and customer success objectives.
  • You have built 3-5 strategic, productive and vocal partnerships, based on mutual value and trust by leveraging sales frameworks, relationships, and persistence.
  • You have established our partnership as mission critical for both our partners and Chainalysis by facilitating compelling desired business outcomes and joint customer value propositions.
  • You have created and shared best practices for building strategic partnerships.

A background like this helps:

  • Experience building strategic alliances with global consulting and integration firms with emerging technology in a high growth SaaS company.
  • Experience creating and growing strategic alliances to serve large financial institutions and governments globally.
  • Managing complex recruitment campaigns and alliances by effectively collaborating across functionals and levels within Chainalysis and the partner organization.
  • You’re an articulate, enthusiastic, and effective communicator who can convey complex concepts in an approachable and concise way.
  • You don’t have to be a blockchain expert, but you’re insatiably curious and willing to learn
  • You’re willing to travel as needed (when it’s safe again!).

What do you do in a strategy job?

A strategy job typically involves identifying opportunities for growth and development for a company or organization, as well as developing plans to achieve those objectives

Depending on the specific role and industry, a strategy job might involve tasks such as market research, analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, formulating business plans and proposals, forecasting revenue and expenses, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating recommendations to senior management

Some examples of specific strategy jobs might include business strategy, marketing strategy, product strategy, corporate strategy, and operations strategy

In each of these areas, the primary goal is to develop a comprehensive plan that will help the company achieve its goals and objectives, while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities

This might involve working with other departments within the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, and industry experts

In addition to these specific tasks, a strategy job often requires strong analytical skills, creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and collaboration skills

Successful strategy professionals must be able to work well with others, develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
