Responsibilities
- Contribute to mechanism/auction design research efforts at Skip, particularly around combinatorial and asynchronous auction design, to build multi-chain MEV protocols
- Collaborate with Interchain Foundation, Informal Systems, Celestia, and other blockchain R&D organizations to develop interchain MEV protocols
- Stay close to Skip’s product needs and leverage your research results to advance them
- Publish research findings and papers to advance public understanding of cross-domain MEV and auction mechanism design
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Track record of novel research contributions to the fields of economics and/or computer science related in mechanism design, auction theory, game theory
- Interest in blockchains, defi, and decentralized markets
- History of collaborating with engineers to prototype to test research findings in live systems
Bonus
- Code, specification, or research contributions to DeFi protocols, blockchain clients, or related infrastructure
- Familiarity with MEV
