Description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to help establish our business intelligence group. If you are passionate about using your technical expertise, business acumen, and problem solving skills to build tools to automate reporting and generate insight, we want to talk.

Your data will inform both strategic and operational decisions across the company. You’ll be involved in projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that your reporting delivers high-quality and relevant data to intelligently grow our business.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the tracking and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for board materials, including but not limited to customer acquisition costs, lifetime value of customers, etc.

• Collaborate with Customer Operations to develop insightful dashboards and present real-time metrics on customer feedback to Leadership
• Dive into our data, including often overlooked data points, to develop insightful dashboards on funnel conversion and platform operation metrics
• Build automated dashboards and reporting tools to help our operations team better detect platform fraud and find creative solutions to prevent it in the future
• Build other automated dashboards, reports, and models that are meaningful for leadership and impactful towards their decision making
• Own the implementation of a data visualization tool, such as Looker
• Analyze data to observe trends, identify opportunities/solutions, and support short-term and long-term deliverables
• Help organize workflows by driving analysis and insights on business drivers in an agile development framework
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and best practice efforts in measuring Voice’s performance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, or related business field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of practical experience in SQL a must
• Visualization expertise in tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, etc., a must
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills so that data can be leveraged into actionable insights and decision making for leadership and relevant stakeholders a must
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, as well as the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidance a must
• Practical experience Google Analytics and/or BigQuery a huge plus
• Prior experience providing business intelligence and data-driven insight through reporting a plus
• Prior experience implementing Looker a plus
• Conceptual and tangible grasp of data modeling and data architecture a plus
• Programming experience a plus
