About the Role:

Tally is seeking an experienced crypto native marketing leader to define and oversee marketing strategy for our open sourced web3 wallet. This person will work closely with the Head Product Operations and Community Manager to ensure that they are bringing a compelling story to market — one that engages our long standing defi community and attracts new audiences. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience leading marketing and communications efforts for early and/or a growth-stage crypto company.

You’ll develop and orchestrate the marketing strategy; develop and deliver key messages about the product, community-owned design; and guide the Tally team through the launch and future marketing campaigns.

Thesis* is the studio behind Fold, Keep, tBTC, Saddle, and Tally. We’re a fun, down-to-earth, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and fully remote team.

About You:

  • You’re deeply passionate about defi and have been involved in the space for 2+ years
  • You have a natural knack for effective online communication & community building
  • You’re a product nerd who cares about getting at the best possible user experience
  • You’re in crypto because you care deeply about individual sovereignty and empowerment, not just for the gainz

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and drive creative marketing campaigns for Tally
  • Build and uphold consistent brand and product marketing messaging
  • Oversee content strategy and content creation (including blogs, newsletter, and announcements)
  • Manage growth campaigns, paid and owned media
  • Set and refine community and social media engagement strategies (working in partnership with the head of community)
  • Lead strategic exercises, including messaging workshops, communication workshops, etc.
  • Project manage and lead cross-functional campaigns between content, PR, advertising, creative, and social media
  • Partner with our external PR team to oversee our marketing efforts are project managed and on track

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years experience as a Marketing Manager/Marketing Lead or similar role
  • Strong experience in defi, blockchains, and a crypto user
  • Exceptional and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • A proven track record of successful industry campaigns and announcements
