What is the Role?
We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources intern to join our team and assist in strategic people-related initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support key initiatives for performance management and employee engagement. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the setup of HR operations and payroll, ensuring seamless processes and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the operationalisation of strategic HR initiatives:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms
  • Support the planning and execution of organisational culture and employee engagement initiatives

2. Contribute to the transition of HR operations and payroll:

  • Assist in the migration of HR operations and payroll to new systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with the HR team to define and document HR processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Support the HR team in addressing any challenges or issues during the transition phase

3. Support the implementation of HR tech and systems:

  • Assist in the implementation and rollout of HR technology solutions, such as HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems), Performance Management Systems, etc.
  • Support with system configuration, data migration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure effective training and communication about new HR tech systems to employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or a background in behavioural or social sciences is a plus.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in HR practices, including performance management, employee engagement, and HR technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.

This is a paid internship position that will run for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability. If you are passionate about the venture building landscape and want to gain hands-on experience in this field, we encourage you to apply.
