About D3:

D3 is building the world’s first purpose-built blockchain for DomainFi—bringing domain tokenization and DeFi primitives to a massive, rapidly growing $350B+ real-world asset class. We’re revolutionizing how existing and future domain names are owned, traded, and leveraged in the digital economy.

Our elite team is stacked with industry veterans who have spent the last three decades shaping the internet, from pioneering domain name monetization to architecting key internet protocols to launching and running major TLDs like .xyz, .inc, .tv, and .link. With a proven track record of innovation and success, we’re now redefining what’s possible in the domain space.

We recently closed a $25M Series A led by Paradigm - one of the best investors in the industry. This will help fuel our mission to bring domains fully on-chain and unlock new financial possibilities for one of the internet’s most valuable asset classes.

We’re based in Los Angeles, with team members all over the world. We’re looking for driven, talented builders to help build a trillion-dollar DomainFi economy. Join us!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Event Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and promotion of our global events. This role is instrumental in driving brand awareness, community engagement, and business growth through high-impact conferences, summits, and industry activations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution and maximize ROI while delivering memorable attendee experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global event strategy, including first- and third-party events and conferences, sponsorship activations, and industry event partnerships.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, from initial creative ideation to venue selection and vendor coordination to budget management and on-site execution.
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive attendance, engagement, and post-event amplification through digital, social, and email channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to align events with business objectives, product launches, and training for event staff.
  • Analyze event performance by tracking key metrics, gathering attendee feedback, and optimizing future strategies based on insights.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, event management, or experiential marketing, preferably in an enterprise, agency, or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of executing a complex event calendar to drive brand engagement, developer education, product engagement, and business development.
  • World-class ability to design and deliver memorable events that range from intimate, high-touch activations for small groups (<30 attendees) to large-scale multi-day conferences for up to 1,000+ attendees. This may include dinners, workshops, meetups, panels, and parties.
  • Maniacal project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines and budgets.
  • Experience with the modern event technology stack (e.g., CRM tools, event management platforms, project management tools, virtual event software).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience working with vendors, partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to domestic and international locations

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience delivering events for B2B, developer, Web3, or fintech industries.
  • Knowledge of international markets and local cultural nuances in event planning and execution.
  • Experience managing sponsorship activations and partnerships.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools to measure event success and attendee behavior.
