Marketing Specialist – Social, PR & Influencers

Bitcoin Depot (bitcoindepot.com) is the world’s leading and fastest growing cryptocurrency ATM company. Based in Atlanta, GA, our business and our teams are rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Marketing Manager – Social, PR, & Influencers to join our dynamic Marketing team and help us Bring Crypto to the Masses™.

The Marketing Manager – Social, PR & Influencers will report to the Sr. Integrated Communications Manager and be our point person for social media content and advertising, PR efforts, and influencer content. This individual will work closely with our agency partners and also provide these services on your own. The Marketing Manager – Social, PR & Influencers will also work with the Director of Marketing to ensure the overall program is working at an optimal level. The successful candidate will also serve as Bitcoin Depot’s SME for how our brand is communicated to the public and help cascade their insights throughout the organization.

This position will work in our Atlanta office.

The successful candidate must have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, PR or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years of related experience in a fast pace working environment (i.e. agencies)
  • Experience creating social media content and social media advertising for national brands
  • Strong work ethic (a “That’s not my job.” attitude will not work at Bitcoin Depot.)

And it would be a big plus if you had any of these…

  • Influencer and PR marketing experience
  • Cryptocurrency experience
  • Agency management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Slack
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

Position responsibilities:

  • Create and manage social media content and social media advertising efforts
  • Execution of PR/media activities (both earned and paid) including but not limited to, working with agency partners, establishing and maintaining media contacts, and execution of press releases
  • Management of Bitcoin Depot’s influencer strategy and tactics
  • Be knowledgeable of cutting-edge social media platforms and influencer content
  • Work closely with the Sr. Integrate Communications Manager and the Director of Marketing to execute the above work
  • Serves as primary PR and social media SME to multiple business functions within the company
  • Works closely with the Marketing team to learn customer insights and incorporate them into social media, PR and influencer activities
  • Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships across the organization, vendors, and industry professionals.
  • Identifies trends, patterns, and correlations to constantly improve PR and social media activities
  • Assist in the development of internal processes that improves Marketing output
  • Other duties as assigned
