Shardeum is looking for a Lead Technical Recruiter (Full-time Contract Position). This role will be seen as a leader on the Talent team, and foundational to our success in building out a word-class technology & team. The Lead Technical Recruiter will report to the VP, People.

An opportunity to:

  • Work with a web 3 startup with $18.2m in seed funding and have upside in the project
  • Learn from founders who have built companies with 10M+ users, been listed on Forbes 30 under 30 and worked at organizations such as NASA, Yahoo, Raytheon and Zynga
  • Grow a SWE team from 10 to ~25 world class engineers in 2022
  • Partner with leadership to define and accomplish hiring goals
  • Create and manage full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of technical roles; from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews to offer delivery
  • Work closely with hiring managers across the organization to develop a deep understanding of team functions and needs
  • Continuously find opportunities to relentlessly build, improve, and fine tune process to deliver best-in-class candidate experience
  • Work with the talent team to develop innovative recruiting and sourcing strategies that realize diversity, inclusion, and talent
  • Work on cross-functional project work and participate in recruiting events as needed

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of technical recruitment experience across agency and/or in-house;
  • Proven track record of identifying and assessing top talent
  • Sourcing experience using a variety of tools--LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, AngelList, Github, Dribbble, StackOverflow, meetups, conferences, etc.
  • Experience coordinating and partnering with external recruiting firms
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • A meticulous approach to organization
  • An innate understanding of how to prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the Shardeum mission and values to candidates
  • Self starter who loves to produce new creative ideas, test them and find optimal ways to achieve objectives with limited manager involvement

What will make you stand out:

  • 2+ years of in-house experience within web3/crypto/layer 1 blockchain (or strong interest in the space)
