Are you passionate about blockchain and digital assets?
My client, a forward thinking investment firm, is looking for a Research Analyst with expertise in Web3, DeFi, and Crypto. You’ll be responsible for generating insights and conducting detailed analysis on digital assets, blockchain technology, and decentralized finance. Your research will be critical in shaping the fund’s investment strategies and keeping the team ahead of trends in this fast-evolving space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed research and analysis of blockchain projects, DeFi protocols, and cryptocurrencies.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies in Web3 and digital assets.
- Analyse on-chain data to spot investment opportunities and assess risks in DeFi ecosystems.
- Create concise reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations for portfolio managers and traders.
- Keep up with industry news to maintain a competitive understanding of the landscape.
- Collaborate with fellow analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to refine investment strategies in digital assets.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in research and analysis related to Web3, DeFi, Crypto, or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized finance, and tokenomics.
- Skilled in on-chain data analysis and familiar with tools like Dune Analytics, Nansen, and Glassnode.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable investment insights.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of assessing risks and identifying high-potential projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Proficient with Python, capable of running and modifying scripts as well as the ability to write basic scripts for data fetching / web scraping.
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in financial markets, hedge funds, asset management, or fintech.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and liquidity mechanics in DeFi.
- Understanding of regulatory issues and compliance in digital assets.
