Are you a gritty, 0-1 sort of QA engineer looking for more autonomy and responsibility, someone who can deliver value in a seed-funded company where ambiguity is part of your everyday?

Myna Swap, a new online trading and vaulting platform for sports cards and other collectible hard goods, raised $6 million in its Seed funding round [1]. The company is currently developing the Myna Platform, a digital marketplace for physical goods based on the Avalanche blockchain. Collectors can use Myna Swap to convert their physical products into digital "twins." The tokenized assets can then be bought and sold without having to exchange physical items each time.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests, primarily with an end-to-end focus. Responsibilities will include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. The successful candidate will also review requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

This role plays a crucial part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure software runs smoothly and meets expectations, while being cost-effective. Process

• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured manual and automated test plans and test cases, particularly pertaining to Cypress specs
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet product needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify requirements
  
  

• Demonstrable thought-leadership around automated testing using Cypress/Cypress Studio/Cypress Cloud
• Hands-on abilities with black- and white-box testing
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases and working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Ownership of quality in a previous startup experience
  
  

• Familiarity with Metamask (or other ETH wallet,) Puppeteer, shell scripting
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
  
  

• $130-145K salary
• 0.05-0.10% equity
