Horizen Labs is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a passion for advancing their skills across several core areas of marketing and the ability to both assist and execute in multiple areas. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.This individual will manage and execute initiatives for Horizen Labsâ various internal and external efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist in areas such as event management, project coordination, marketing outreach, platform management, project management, and light writing tasks.Finally, and most importantly, this candidate should have an overwhelmingly positive attitude and be willing to dive headlong into new subjects and to acquire new skills in an effort to advance the companyâs goals in the ever-changing Web3 market landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Coordination:
- Manage and assist in the tactical execution of marketing efforts across inbound and outbound channels.
- Identify events and panel opportunities for Horizen Labs.
- Coordinate and manage blog posts and press releases both internally and with external partners.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources such to consistently drive users and clients towards the Horizen ecosystem.
- Coordinate with Product, Strategy, Sales and Business Development as needed.
- Own project management within the marketing organization and work closely with Project and Product Managers on cross-functional initiatives.
General Marketing initiatives:
- Provide basic marketing operations support via email campaigns and database management through the companyâs CRM and marketing automation tools
- Lead event organization for any conferences or industry event participation (exhibitor or panel appearances)
- Provide support as needed to one-off and ongoing marketing iniatitives

- Self-starter with experience owning multiple areas of marketing
- Clear, articulate, thorough organizer comfortable interacting with executives and partners
- Flexible team player with a startup mentality and a willingness to engage in tasks outside of their established skillset

- Curious learner ready to expand their repertoire of skills into needed areas
- Experience within the fintech/crypto space a must
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of marketing experience
- Bachelorâs Degree, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Web2/Web3 tech companies (seed stage or big tech); Bonus for crypto or FinTech experience
- Excellent track record in marketing and coordination with meaningful contributions toward key company initiatives
- Basic working knowledge of email, project management, and marketing automation tools
- An entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
