Omnibus Clearing Operations Associate

St Petersburg, FL

Webull Financial LLC is a FINRA registered broker dealer, we provide online investing platform for retail investors, products include global market data, news and trading in US equities, listed options and crypto currencies. We are looking for a talented financial service professional in the St. Petersburg area to be part of our Omnibus Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Omnibus reconciliations with Webull’s clearing partner, Apex Clearing, and banking partners including JPM
• Heavily involved in building out omnibus processes, procedures, controls, and overall best practices
• Act as the primary point of contact for the introducing broker dealer to triage and assess issues
• Conduct all operational tasks including resolving trade breaks, margin calls, trade settlement, journals, corporate actions, dividends, ACATS, statement delivery, trade confirmations, proxy delivery, and position and cash reconciliations
• Familiarity with all types of account transfers (ACAT, DRS, DWAC, FRs and FOPs)
• Comfortable with direct contact with vendors, clearing venues, clearing agents and end customers
• Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the processes, procedures, systems, markets and instruments (equities, options, and crypto currencies) that our team handles
• Deliver objective analysis of error trends and opportunities and identify root causes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in relevant field
• Series 7 or Series 99 license
• Experience in clearing omnibus or self-clearing
• Experience with systems including Broadridge, Penson/Apex, FIS, IHS
• Strong Purchase and Sales knowledge
• Prior production experience working at a retail broker dealer
• Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills
• Strong sense of urgency when it comes to support resolution
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Team player with the ability to lead
