Over just the last four years, crypto has evolved from an embryonic $50B market to a young-but-growing $1T market today. At Bitwise, we think it’s just getting started. In fact, we believe crypto has reached a turning point, and is headed north of $10T over the next few years. We manage over $1B and are growing quickly, with the world's first and largest crypto index fund (ticker: BITW), the first and largest crypto equities ETF (ticker: BITQ), the first and largest DeFi index fund, and many other innovative crypto products. We focus on serving investment professionals — financial advisors, family offices, hedge funds, endowments, foundations, and others — the people entrusted to look after the capital and savings of individuals and institutions across the country. We provide education, partnership, and professionally managed investment products tailored to this group’s needs, to help them build their view, pick their strategy, and get their exposure.

Currently, Bitwise is a close-knit team of 40 professionals. Our backgrounds combine technology expertise with decades of experience in asset management and indexing, coming from firms including Facebook, Wealthfront, BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, and IndexIQ. We’re backed by some of the most accomplished investors in venture capital and veterans of the financial services world. We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and take on important responsibilities to help Bitwise scale. You will report to the Director of Marketing and will own the strategy and execution of Bitwise’s Field Marketing program. There will be a lot to learn, a huge impact to be had, and some lifelong relationships to be built along the way.

What You Will Do

You’ll own Bitwise’s Field Marketing program, with responsibility for driving the strategy and execution of conferences, trade shows, and in-market field events.

You will seek and develop alliances with field marketers in companies within our ecosystem, helping drive the development of joint field marketing programs.

You’ll work cross-functionally across nearly all parts of the business, ensuring there is alignment on priorities and strategy between sales, marketing, investor relations, and the executive team. 

You will partner with Sales and Marketing Operations to develop and drive a data strategy for our field marketing program, including (but not limited to) mapping accounts, segmenting audiences, and incorporating behavioral data.

You will work closely with Marketing Operations to measure and report success, and you will co-own the dashboards that are created. 

You will manage large and complex projects effectively, utilizing your budget and resources wisely to drive real business impact. 

You will plug into the wider marketing community and stay up to date on the latest trends, processes and technologies being used, striving always for a best-in-class field marketing program.

Who You Are

You have 7+ years of professional work experience.

You have 4+ years of experience leading a B2B field marketing program with responsibility for customer conferences, trade shows, and/or in-market field events. 

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (with a preference for marketing, communications, and business majors). Your MBA is a plus. 

You have led the planning and execution of at least one multi-day customer conference with at least 150 participants.

You have familiarity with the modern MarTech landscape and how these tools work together to power marketing and sales processes within a B2B environment.

You have proven ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, and executive teams. 

You have exceptional time management, organization, and self-motivation abilities. Your work ethic is a source of pride. You know how to prioritize tasks and to deliver projects on time. 

You are a great communicator in writing and conversation, and can convey details with clarity and coherence. You’re an analytical and logic-oriented thinker. 

You are team-centric and care deeply about your relationships with the team internally.
